Zendaya Paired a White Crop Top and Underwear With a transparent Netted Skirt
Zendaya and her creative director Law Roach served up another tennis-themed look for her Challengers press tour stop in Australia earlier today. Zendaya posted an Instagram Story of herself donning a white crop top, high-waisted underwear, and a netted maxi skirt with a thigh-high leg slit. The ensemble was custom Lacoste. She accessorized with Bulgari jewelry.
She finished the look off with matching stilettos, which proved a tad problematic while posing for photos. “When your heel keeps getting caught in your net lol,” she jokingly wrote on Instagram.

Zendaya previously wore a custom green Loewe dress with a tennis player depicted on it at the Sydney premiere of the movie.
In Challengers, the actress plays a femme fatale character, former tennis player-turned-coach, Tashi. Zendaya explained what attracted her to the role in an interview with ELLE published in August 2023. “I felt like it was a good step into a more, I guess you could say, ‘grown-up’ role and into that next phase,” she said. “It was a little scary to take on, which I think is a good feeling. To be like, ‘Ooh, can I do this?’ You could run from that feeling and stay safe and comfortable, or you can go, ‘You know what, fuck it.’”
Even after wrapping the project, Zendaya admitted that “I still don’t understand the decisions she makes, and we had so many conversations about why she is that way. What was important to me was that she was unapologetic. Sometimes characters who are messy and conflicted and wield power over other people are reserved for [actors] who don’t look like me, so when I get an opportunity to play a character like that, I’ma take it!”
