Wildlife Photographer Shares Her Favorite Animal Encounters of 2023
If there's one job that would be cool to have, it's definitely a wildlife photographer's job. I am more than aware that I don't have the patience for it but think it would be incredible to spend time around wild animals, capturing glimpses into their lives to share with the world. @Karolina Noree is lucky enough to call herself a wildlife photographer in South Africa, and her photos are amazing! She shared her top wildlife encounters from 2023, and I can't pick a favorite!
Karolina posted the video on Tuesday, December 19th. Since I couldn't pick a favorite, I'm not sure how she was able to! She shared several different animals that she captured on film in the wild, including some babies (the elephant is adorable!) Which is your favorite?
I loved the rhino doing a little happy dance (although he might've been angry but I'm keeping it positive)! The way that @Karoline recorded the lion drinking water and being able to see his reflection in the water was just stunning. By far the baby elephant is my favorite just because he's so cute. The video of the leopard looking directly into the camera is perfection. And being able to hear the lion calling at the end was so cool to hear! And like me, most commenters couldn't pick just one as a favorite, but the elephant was mentioned more than once.

Wildlife Photographers Share Their Favorite Moments
There is some really gorgeous photography and unbelievable videography out there, and I'm so glad that photographers are willing to share it with all of us. There are moments that we'd never be able to see that they bring to life for all of us. From forests to the ocean, tundra, and beyond, there's so much to see around the world!
This photographer shoots wildlife mainly in Yellowstone National Park, and he shared one minute of his favorites. He seems to perfectly capture owls in so many of his videos, and they're always my favorite. Bertie Gregory is a photographer for National Geographic, and he got up close and personal with an adorable and curious sea lion pup. Imagine capturing video of hundreds of eagles in Alaska, or being the lucky researcher who found two Emperor penguins that photobombed your hidden camera! This photographer earned the trust of baby foxes and was able to get some amazing video to share with all of us.
Karolina also shared three of her favorite photos that made her say "I did that", and they're also stunning. I could look at her work all day!
