CBS will not air new episodes of Fire Country on Friday, March 22 or Friday, March 29. The firefighter drama is getting preempted by the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament on both days.

On March 22, CBS will air two first-round games over the course of Fire Country’s usual time slot of 9 p.m. ET. Starting at 7:10 p.m. ET,  fourth-seeded Duke will take on No. 13 seed Vermont, followed by No. 5 seed Wisconsin against No. 12 seed James Madison at 9:40 p.m. ET. S.W.A.T., which typically airs right before Fire Country, and Blue Bloods, which airs after, will also be off due to the NCAA Tournament.

If you’re not in ET, check your local listings to find out what will air in place of Fire Country.

On March 29, Fire Country will be preempted by the Sweet 16 round. The game (or games) is to be determined.

This is already the second time Fire Country has taken time off with just four episodes of Season 2 having aired; there was no new episode on March 8.

New episodes will return on Friday, April 5 with Episode 5, “This Storm Shall Pass.”

At the end of Episode 4, Bode (Max Thieriot), his ex-girlfriend/mother of his potential child Cara (Sabina Gadecki) and Diego (Rafael de la Fuente), the fiancé of Gabriela (Stephanie Arcila), the woman with whom Bode is still in love, were involved in an ambulance crash. Bode had been injured while fighting a fire in a remote location, and Cara, a nurse, and Diego, a paramedic, were taking him to the hospital, along with another unnamed paramedic. It was a dangerously windy day, and as they drove through the woods, a tree fell on the ambulance.
