Wendy's Introduces $3 Breakfast Meal Deal to Compete With McDonald's

With inflation and internal business decisions pushing up prices at fast food chains, some are now looking to lure customers back with new deals. Wendy's is the latest to do so with its new breakfast meal deal.

For a limited time only, Wendy's is offering customers a choice between two English muffins with potatoes on the side. Both the Bacon, Egg, & Cheese English Muffin and Sausage, Egg, & Cheese English Muffin come with a small portion of seasoned potatoes. The best part? The combo is yours for just $3.

"This combo is a delicious and value-able reason to jump out of bed in the morning," the company said in a statement about the promotion.

The announcement follows a similar move by McDonald's earlier this month to reach customers at a lower price point. Throughout the month of June, the Golden Arches is selling value meals for just $5. The combos include small French fries, a small drink, and a choice between a McDouble, a McChicken, or a four-piece Chicken McNuggets.

The English Muffin deal is Wendy's latest attempt to beef up the breakfast offerings on its menu. Within the past year, the fast food giant has introduced new items like various Frosty Cream Cold Brew flavors, a Cinnabon Pull-Apart roll, and a protein-packed Breakfast Burrito.

You can secure your $3 English Muffin deal online or using the Wendy's app during regular breakfast hours. Just make sure you select the English Muffin deal to get your discount.
