Watch: Levi McConaughey Shares Wipeout Reel from Hawaii Surf Trip

Levi McConaughey, the son of movie star Matthew McConaughey, loves to surf.

The kid's been publicly documenting his adventures in surfing since he received the gift of social media for his 15th birthday.

Since then, he's been on a few surf trips, watched the WSL finals at Trestles, and teamed up with his father to help Maui wildfire recovery. His latest surfing post is from a trip to Hawaii, where he not only scored solid surf, but got hazed by some pretty impressive wipeouts as displayed in the footage below.

McConaughey shared the post above today and captioned it:

"Hawaii love"

The post features a compilation of wipeouts from the North Shore, showing McConaughey charging pretty hard in some seriously substantial surf.

The video shows him wiping out over and over in solid, overhead waves at Pipeline, Backdoor, and maybe even some Big Island spots.

In the footage, McConaughey tries to pull into a handful of sizable barrels.

He face plants, air drops, and gets pounded by the lip in heavy, double overhead surf.

It's kinda cool that a grom his age is humble enough to post a wipeout reel.

Or, maybe it's just a sly humble brag.

McConaughey got some love from a handful of pro surfers in the comments section too. Check out a few of 'em below:

Colapinto: "Haha yes only one way to learn"

Strider Wasilewski: "Yessss, it’s not all 🌈’s & 🦄’s"

Josh Moniz: "🙌"

Kade Matson: "Yes legend"

Shane Dorian's fam: "Yikes!!! Your charging"
