Watch: Pure Mayhem at the Superbank Redefines a Crowded Surf Spot

Crowded lineups are every surfer's worst nightmare.

A crowded surf spot is the cause of all of our surfing troubles: drop-ins, getting skunked, not getting any waves, injuries, and dings.

But what constitutes a crowd is relative. So check out the video below and it just might make you feel better about your home break.

The footage above comes from the YouTube channel, Surfs Up.

It showcases crowded kookery at its finest, and was aptly captioned, "Kooks, Wipeouts, Dropins, Absolute Mayhem - Superbank."

The edit's short and sweet, at just three minutes long. As the caption implies, it's pure mayhem at the Superbank.

From way too many people on a wave, to drop-ins, board collisions, wipeouts, and a few little barrels, this video has it all.

There's a good chance it'll make you rethink what the word "crowded" means when it comes to surfing.

And maybe, just maybe, the next time you paddle out at your local break on a busy day, you'll think, 'This isn't so bad.'"

Press play above for a baffling three minutes.

Suffice to say, viewers were humored and shared some stories of their own:

"Whew that was almost exhausting to watch, I expected to see some bloke in his pajamas taking off fin first"

"Holy shit I'm never going back there the last time I surfed it was like 1999 and I don't think it was even called Superbank just Greenmount"

"At least when ya burn someone at snapper u can usually go down the line and get away from your victim so ya don’t have to do the paddle of shame going back out"
