Al Roker and Dylan Dreyer

We can always count on the Today show to lift our spirits, especially when it involves Al RokerDylan Dreyer and a little bit of dancing.

The fan-favorite NBC News personalities got up on their feet during the Third Hour of the Today show on Monday, Oct. 16, where they got to participate in a live dance session with Kristen Sudeikis.

Sudeikis, the creator and CEO of dance workout studio, Forward_Space, who also happens to be the younger sister of Emmy-winning actor Jason Sudeikis, stopped by Studio 1A this week to show the Today show stars how to get their blood pumping with an energizing dance routine.

In a video of the dancing session shared by Today.com, Roker, 69, and Dreyer, 42, co-hosted the program with fellow anchor Sheinelle Jones, while Sudeikis and her dancers taught them some moves.

Sudeikis called the routine a "moving meditation," as she started off the lesson with some stretches, breathing techniques and movements aimed at releasing tension in the body.

"I hope you guys are doing this at home with us because this feels amazing," said Dreyer, who was dressed in skinny jeans and sneakers for the workout session.

"It feels good," Roker agreed.

The weatherman stuck to his usual attire for the program, wearing a suit vest with a tie and matching pants, after he took off his suit jacket before hitting the dance floor.

Jones, 45, was also still dressed in her businesswear, sporting a plaid dress and knee-high boots for the dancing lesson—though that didn't stop her from keeping up with Sudeikis' instructions.

"Kristen, thank you so much," Roker said by the end of the clip, while also giving a nod to their "backup dancers" for the day.

"We've never had backup dancers before!" he exclaimed, while Jones and Dreyer continued on with their dance moves until the video came to an end.
