Dylan Dreyer is way ahead of the game this year, so much so that her Today co-hosts practically can't believe it.

During the Thursday, Sept. 21 episode of the NBC morning talk show, Dreyer made jaws drop when she revealed that she had already purchased her kids' Halloween costumes for the upcoming spooky season.

"I did get my costumes in August…" the meteorologist, 42, confessed, much to the surprise of her colleagues Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb and Craig Melvin, according to Hello! magazine.

Explaining that she was just trying to be proactive ahead of the trick-or-treating holiday, Dreyer explained that she picked out her costumes early "because I knew that the sizes weren't gonna be around anymore for the kids!"

"I'm shocked," her co-anchors expressed, while Dreyer candidly admitted, "I'm shocked, too."

"I was just actually totally on it this year," the mother of three added, before joking, "And we've worn them several times already."

Dreyer, who shares three sons with husband Brian Fichera, just recently sent her oldest two kids back to school, taking to Instagram to celebrate their sweet milestone moments.

"Let’s go 2nd grade!!!" the doting mom wrote next to a photo of her eldest child, Calvin, 6, at the start of the month.

The following week, she celebrated her middle son Oliver (affectionately called "Ollie") as he started his first day of preschool.

"Let’s do this!! Love you buddy!" she captioned the wholesome photo of her 3-year-old.

In addition to Calvin and Ollie, Dreyer and Fichera also share their youngest son, Russel (A.K.A. "Rusty"), who turns two at the end of the month.
