Video of Whale Gulping Down Hundreds of Fish Is So Cool To See

Whale watching is a bucket list item for many people, and some days you go out and don't even get to see one. But @oceandiversityy shared a video on Instagram of some whale watchers getting to see a humpback whale feeding, and you've got to see it to believe it!

The video was shared on Monday, November 6th, and starts with hundreds of fish surfacing and jumping out of the ocean all at the same time. Birds are flying all around, excited about the free no-work meal. Next thing we see is a lone humpback whale with his mouth wide open, gulping down all of the fish that it can get. It's truly an incredible sight!

This is something that some people will never get to see up close and personal. All I can say is "WOW!" Not only did @oceandiversitty share this video with all of us, but the same post had also two others: two more whales feeding, and a cool video of a whale tail as well! I'm so glad that they share all of these videos!

I wasn't the only one who was impressed with the whale feeding. @vous2367 pointed out, "For such a huge amount of effort, he doesn't seem to get all that many fish, energy expended - wow!!" @zinechakib shared, "It's amazing and beautiful". Another commenter laughed, "I'm glad my name isn't Jonah!"

Many people asked where this was filmed. @johnlechtenbergjr said, "Moss Landing, California. The greatest spot to see many types of whales. I love this place." Sounds like I need to add a trip to Moss Landing and Monterey to see these giants for myself!
