Vermont Ski Area Refuses To Give Up On Winter With Overnight Snowmaking

Bromley Mountain in Vermont isn't letting spring in just yet. As of March 18th, Bromley Mountain announced to Facebook that their Snowmaking Team has fired up the snow guns and are touching up key areas on the mountain.

In other words... "The season WILL continue!"

This morning's snow report confirmed the best, as Oliver at Bromley wrote, "I suppose our snowmaking efforts have done some tide turning and the luck from St. Patrick’s Day has leaked over... last night we received 4 inches of fresh snow!"

With a base depth of 12-18 inches, a season snowfall total of 86 inches, and 30/47 trails open, things are looking up at Bromley.

The resort's primary surface is machine groomed with a very light powdery fluff on top. In other words: everyone's dream.

Bromley has the highest base elevation in Vermont, and warm southern exposure keeps the snow soft.

Their mountain also funnels into one base area, which is convenient for families looking to stick together. See their trail map below.
