GREEN BAY - Calling all foodies — two popular Green Bay-area events are back this weekend to fill all your savory, smoky, and curious taste buds.

We put together a roundup of a few events going on around the area this weekend. Here's what is happening in the Green Bay area this weekend.

De Pere Foodie Walk

Get your sips and samples on during the Foodie Walk in De Pere. At least 10 eateries are part of the walk. Bites will include pizza, Jamaican chicken curry, ahi tuna poke nachos and more.

Tickets are $25 each. The walk lasts 1-5 p.m. Saturday. Find the menu and restaurants and buy tickets at definitelydepere.org.

Fiesta Italiana at the Automobile Gallery

Check out a collection of Italian cars at The Automobile Gallery, 400 S. Adams St., for one night. There will be over 100 vehicles and Italian cheeses, wines, and gelato.

Admission is $15 for the event on The Automobile Gallery's website. The car show is 2-6 p.m. Saturday.

MeatFest

MeatFest is back at the Resch Expo this weekend for a second year. Join a live cooking demo or try the hundreds of samples of meat, beer, cheese, and wine.

The event is noon to 6 p.m. Saturday. General admission starts at noon, while VIP early entry starts at 11 a.m. General admission is $15 for adults and $7 for kids 13 to 17. VIP entry is $20 for adults and $12 for kids 13 to 17. Buy tickets on Ticket Star.

Blizzard vs Frisco

Green Bay Blizzard play the Frisco Fighters on Faith and Family Night on Saturday. Terrian will perform a post-game concert. Tickets for the game and concert are $15. Anyone who buys four or more tickets gets a free pizza from Gallagher's.

The game is at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Resch Center. Buy tickets through the Blizzard website.

Opening reception for 'The Big Show'

The new contemporary art exhibit, "The Big Show," is opening at the Art Garage downtown. Join the opening reception to meet the artists and enjoy refreshments.

The reception is 2-4 p.m. Saturday at The Art Garage, 1400 Cedar St., Green Bay. More information is on the Art Garage's website.

WAMI Awards

The Wisconsin Area Music Industry awards show will be in Green Bay area for the first time. The WAMI Awards will be at the EPIC Event Center, 2351 Holmgren Way, Ashwaubenon, at 7 p.m. Sunday.

The Grammy-nominated rock band Garbage, formed in Madison in 1993, is a WAMI Hall of Fame nominee. became a staple of '90s radio with such hits as "Stupid Girl" and "Only Happy When It Rains." Shirley Manson, Butch Vig, Steve Marker and Duke Erikson have sold more than 17 million albums and are set to tour Europe this summer.

The public can attend the awards show and cheer on two of Green Bay's own — Fun w/ Atoms and The Glam Band. General admission is $25 and VIP mezzanine tickets are $45. Tickets are on sale through etix.com.

Nate Bargatze on tour

Deemed "The Nicest Man in Stand-up" by The Atlantic, comedian Nate Bargatze will be making a stop at the Resch Center during The Be Funny Tour. Doors open at 6 p.m. Sunday; the show starts at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $99.75, $79.75, $59.75 and $39.75; $10 more per seat for aisle pairs. They are still on sale at ticketstaronline.com, 800-895-0071 and the Resch Center box office.
