ASHWAUBENON - Comedian Nate Bargatze keeps adding shows to his Be Funny Tour, and this time the Resch Center landed on the list.

He’ll perform at 7 p.m. May 19 for a stop on a tour that has been going strong since January 2023.

Tickets are $99.75, $79.75, $59.75 and $39.75; $10 more per seat for aisle pairs. They go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at ticketstaronline.com, 800-895-0071 and the Resch Center box office.

The Tennessee-born Bargatze, known for his clean, relatable comedy and soft-spoken delivery, was heralded as “The Nicest Man in Stand-Up” by The Atlantic in 2021. His popularity has exploded since he was last at the Resch Center in October 2022 for The Raincheck Tour. Among his achievements last year:

  • “Nate Bargatze: Hello World” became Prime Video's most-streamed original comedy special in the first 28 days of viewership when it was released in 2023, with 2.9 million viewers.

  • He set an attendance record at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville with a crowd of 19,365 in April.

  • He hosted “Saturday Night Live” in October for an episode with Foo Fighters.

  • He launched The Nateland Company, a family-friendly content company through which he’ll produce stand-up specials, sketches and scripted episodic content for film and television, podcasts, music and other formats.

  • He still found time to do his “Nateland” podcast with fellow comedians Brian Bates, Aaron Weber and Dusty Slay.

It's hard to believe now, but in 2016, before his first Netflix comedy special came out, he played the small space of Backstage at the Meyer for a $15 general admission ticket. He made the leap to The Weidner in 2020.

Bargatze’s Be Funny Tour has arena dates that stretch through the end of June.
