To celebrate the 2024 Easter holiday, a Taylor Swift fan account resurfaced a nine-year-old video of the pop star fiercely competing against her younger brother in an Easter egg hunt.

In the 29-second clip posted on X, the “Anti-Hero” singer and her brother, Austin Swift, ran down a set of steps before they began their search for the brightly-colored Easter eggs. The throwback video was recorded in April 2015 when Taylor was 25 and Austin was 23.

Giggling could be heard in the background as Austin grabbed his sister’s arm to try to prevent her from racing past him. He pulled his sister behind him for a few seconds as he assessed a couple of potential hiding places. She playfully smacked him with the bag she was using to carry her treasure before she broke free of his grip and ran off to continue the hunt.

Someone in the background could be heard laughing and saying of Taylor and Austin’s antics, “It never ends!” The voice, which MTV identified at the time as belonging to their mother, Andrea Swift, later added, “The struggle is real.”

The video later showed the “Cruel Summer” songstress scrambling through some bushes and quickly picking up hidden eggs to add to her collection. Austin also darted around as he too attempted to collect the greater number of eggs.

“I’ve got like a hundred,” Taylor could be heard telling her brother at the end of the video. “Good luck!”

At the time the video was recorded, the Grammy Award-winning artist compared herself and her brother to Friends siblings Ross and Monica Geller. The characters, who were played by David Schwimmer and Courteney Cox, often bickered onscreen.

“When your parents arrange a competitive sibling Easter egg hunt, failing to take into account that their children are Ross and Monica,” Taylor wrote in an Instagram caption accompanying the video at the time, according to The Daily Mail.

While fans enjoyed the resurfaced video of the Swift family’s Easter egg hunt, it wasn’t the only Taylor-related throwback content of the day. Earlier on Sun., March 31, another Taylor fan account also shared a photo of the “Blank Space” singer wearing fluffy bunny ears and clutching a plush pink bunny as a toddler.
