Taylor Swift Glimmers in Green on the 2024 Golden Globes Red Carpet

Taylor Swift is glimmering in green at this year's Golden Globes!
Though Swift is up against blockbusters Barbie and Oppenheimer in the cinematic and box office achievement category for her record-breaking concert film The Eras Tour, fans weren't sure she'd make an appearance, but the superstar has proven that she likes to keep us on our toes!
She stepped out on the red carpet of The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, Calif., where the ceremony is taking place, in a sparkling green gown. The chart topper went with classic Hollywood glamour for her hairstyle, letting her blonde locks hang lose with a subtle wave. She also ditched her signature red lip for the occasion, choosing a more neutral lipstick for the ensemble.

We're sure Swifties are hoping the green look is a callback to her reputation album, which many suspect will be her next re-release and has plenty of snake imagery. Fans made similar assumptions for the Renaissance red carpet—where some fans thought a glittering applique on the edge of her neckline resembled a snake—as well as the MTV VMAs, where she was decked out in a black, floor-length dress with gold buttons that embodied the edgy era following her sixth album.
Unfortunately, beau Travis Kelce was not available to make his red carpet debut alongside her this time around, as the Kansas City Chiefs had a conflicting game against the Los Angeles Chargers at SoFi Stadium.
However, SoFi Stadium is only about half an hour away (in good traffic) from the venue, so he may be able to make a late entrance or appear at an after-party later in the evening—trust us when we say, we'll be keeping our eyes peeled.
