Taylor Swift; Travis Kelce

Taylor Swift is up for an award at this year's Golden Globes, and fans are really hoping she'll be hitting the red carpet at the Beverly Hilton, even if it's without her boyfriend, Travis Kelce.

The "Cruel Summer" singer is nominated in the cinematic and box office achievement category for her record-breaking concert film, The Eras Tour. She's up against other major box office hits from this year, including both Barbie and Oppenheimer.

While there's a chance that Swift, 34, will be in attendance considering her nomination, Kelce's day already looks a bit busy as the award show falls on a football Sunday.

Kelce, 34, and the Kansas City Chiefs will be kicking off against the Los Angeles Chargers at SoFi Stadium at 4:25 ET/1:25 PT on Jan. 7, while the Golden Globes start at 8:00 ET/5:00 PT, so while the athlete will be in the L.A. area, it would be a tight window for him to make it to the award show after the game.

But there's hope that Swift will still be in attendance, as the pop superstar is currently still on break from her Eras Tour and would potentially be in L.A. anyway to spend time with Kelce.

There's also the possibility that she will ditch the Golden Globes altogether and attend Kelce's game instead. Still, sports experts speculate that the tight end could be given this week to rest ahead of the upcoming playoffs.

Chiefs coach Andy Reid already confirmed that Patrick Mahomes, the team's star quarterback, will not be playing in the upcoming regular season game, as reported by Sports Illustrated. As for Kelce, nothing has been confirmed yet, but even if he gets the day off to rest, he would still need ample time to make it from the sidelines to Beverly Hills.

Either way, Swifties are determined to see Swift on TV somehow this Sunday—fingers crossed!
