Target Is Selling 'Very Cute' $25 Gold Buckle Slide Sandals That Look So Similar to a Dolce Vita Style Almost 5x the Price

Slide sandals are a nice little “hack” if you love the idea of wearing flip-flops all summer long but don’t want the look of them. With slides, you get the ease and simplicity of flip-flops, but have an elevated sense of style that work for running errands or attending a fancy event (depending on what you buy). And Target’s newest slide sandals fall into that category of comfortable and stylish while also looking so similar to a Dolce Vita style almost five times the price.
The slides in question are Target’s Women's Bennie Buckle Slide Sandals by their women’s apparel brand, A New Day. They only come in a cream color and sizes 5 through 12 (though some of the smaller and larger sizes are already out or selling out). They’re a classic slide sandal design with a cushy memory foam insole that you can see just by looking at them. The Bennie Buckle slides also have a thick faux leather strap, open D-toe and a big buckle. It’s a textured circular buckle that stands out and adds an elevated chicness to the slides.

The slides aren’t completely flat thanks to their tiny little heels, but you can still consider them standard flats regardless. They’re currently $24.99 at Target and are pretty brand new. But luckily there are some reviews already that show customers already like them.
“Get them!" one shopper writes, following it up with, "Adorbs! And comfy..." Another person wrote that they were “very cute” and despite not having arch support, the memory foam made the slides comfortable. Someone else wrote that they felt the sandals were true to size and their feet didn’t hurt after a long day of substitute teaching. But they did get “lots of compliments!”
Grecia Sandals Leather, $120 at Dolce Vita
As we said before, these slides are great and also a lookalike product to Dolce Vita’s Grecia Sandals. These are currently $120, are made with real leather and have more of a heel than Target’s slides. The ivory color is the closest to A New Day’s sandal, complete with a big gold buckle. The main differences are that Dolce Vita’s sandals have a stitched design around their straps and the buckle is smooth as opposed to textured.
Even with those slight differences between Target and Dolce Vita’s gold buckle slide sandals, Target’s Bennie Buckle Slide Sandals are elevated, standout footwear to add to your wardrobe. And for a fraction of the price of a designer shoe, Target’s sandals are a pretty good choice.
