Target Is Selling a 'Chic' $38 Linen Spring Blazer So Similar to a J. Crew Style Almost 6x the Price

There really is something about wearing a suit as a woman that gives you a powerful little thrill. A matching blazer and trousers set just feels so put together and chic. But as we leave winter behind us, it can be hard to find sets that won’t overheat you during warmer events. That’s where Target’s linen spring blazer comes in to save the day. It doesn’t hurt that the matching set looks so similar to something from J. Crew that’s nearly six times the price, either.
Target’s Women's Linen Spring Blazer by their women’s apparel brand, A New Day, is currently $38 and comes in two colors perfect for spring and summer: yellow and tan. It’s also size-inclusive, coming in XS through a 4X; reviews do say it’s made to be oversized, so keep that in mind while shopping. Target’s site says it’s made with a midweight fabric (55% rayon, 45% linen) and in a casual fit that’s meant to be mid-length.

It has a collared neckline and a 2-button closure below the bust, at the stomach area. This linen blazer also has a back slit and front pockets. Even though it is pretty new, the blazer already has some favorable reviews.
One shopper wrote, "Linen + Yellow = Spring!" saying that they typically don’t wear “a lot of colors, but this sophisticated linen blazer is just the right shade to be seasonable and fashion-forward, while still looking chic.” They wrote that every time they’ve worn the blazer, “at least 2 people” have told them they like it.
“That’s a piece worth adding to your wardrobe,” they wrote.
Another person said that they “absolutely love the color” and will keep it “in heavy rotation for [spring].” Another customer wrote how they loved that the blazer is fully lined and “very nice quality for the price.”

It’s currently on sale for $214.50 and is made with a “stretch linen blend” (67% linen, 33% Sorona bio-polyester). This blazer is double-breasted with gorgeous gold buttons, which are also found on the sleeves. It’s also lined and has a chest pocket and hip pockets with flaps.

A major bonus to Target’s linen blazer (other than its price), however, is the fact that there are several bottoms and tops to pair with it for reasonable prices.
If you want a matching two-piece set, you can get the same yellow and tan colors in the same fabric in their Women's High-Rise Linen Pleated Front Straight Pants and Women's High-Rise Linen Pleated Front Shorts (if you want a breezier look).
