Surf-Stoked Levi McConaughey Shares His Recipe for a Post-Session Smoothie

Levi McConaughey is totally surf-stoked.

The teenage son of Dazed & Confused actor Matthew McConaughey has displayed his love of surfing since we reported that he received the gift of social media for his 15th birthday in July.

Today, the teen must have had a good session wherever he is, because he posted an Instagram story offering us his smoothie recipe to "refuel after a surf."

At the start of the clip, he says:

"Alright, guys let's go make a little post-surf smoothie."

In the next frame, he narrates the ingredients as he sets them in front of a Ninja blender.

"Got the berries, the almond milk, got a fresh banana, protein powder, and finally we got some peanut butter," he says.

He blends it up, pours it into a glass, and then moves out onto a porch to sample his creation.

"There we go," he says. "That's our post-surf smoothie right there. That's really good."

Levi McConaughey's Post Surf Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • Organic mixed berries

  • Organic unsweetened almond milk

  • One fresh banana

  • Peanut butter

  • Protein powder (McConaughey used Pure Encapsulations PureLean Whey.)

Directions:

  • Throw everything in a blender

  • Blend until creamy

In July, Levi launched his Instagram profile with a bio that says “Surf🏄‍♂️ Snow🏂 Shoot📸 Style👓 Sound 🎶,” and a post of clips of him surfing.

After that, Levi gave the world the classic surf trip post, showing him ripping his way through a good time with friends.

In August, Levi and his dad created a post together about how to help survivors of the Maui wildfires. Most recently, Matthew has been outspoken about his fandom, and support, for world title contender Griffin Colapinto.
