Step into the 1904 World Fair at Missouri History Museum

ST. LOUIS – This weekend, the long-awaited 1904 World’s Fair exhibit at the Missouri History Museum opens.

The grand opening is being held this Saturday, April 27. The museum is offering a new and exciting way to see more than 200 artifacts, pictures, and incredible works of original art.

The event commemorates the 120th anniversary of the 1904 World’s Fair, which is rich in St. Louis history, including exciting, inspiring, and jarring realities.

There are a wealth of activities taking place all weekend in a festive atmosphere. A parade steps off Saturday morning at 9:30 a.m., followed by the grand opening of the exhibit at 10 a.m. The fun and celebrations continue Sunday, including cultural music, food trucks, and dance performances.

Parking and the exhibit are free, but capacity is limited. Timed-entry tickets can be reserved at the ticket desk, which opens at 9 a.m.
