Sofía Vergara Reunites With 'Modern Family' Co-Stars Amid Joe Manganiello Divorce

Sofía Vergara got the Modern Family gang back together! Well, sort of.
On Tuesday, the 51-year-old actress shared a trio of photos from her sweet reunion with two of her former co-stars, Julie Bowen and Jesse Tyler Ferguson. Also joining the pals was Ferguson's husband, actor and producer Justin Mikita.
The new snaps appeared to be taken at Vergara's home, specifically from inside her closet, given the array of framed images of the star scattered around the room.
The first photo showed Bowen, 53, embracing Ferguson, 48, who both appeared to be in awe of Vergara's meticulously organized space. A second was a selfie of just Mikita, 38, smiling wide in front of a wall of heels perfectly arranged by their color and style. The final pic captured all four of the friends leaning in close and posing for a mirror selfie, also taken by Mikita.
"[Come] back soooon!!!!!" Vergara exclaimed in the caption of the Oct. 24 Instagram upload. "🌟🌟I missed uuu."
"For once, I enjoyed being back in the closet!" Ferguson quipped in the replies.
"Was it a Pritchett Closet?" one fan joked, referencing the fictional closets and blinds company that Jay Pritchett (played by Ed O'Neill) founded and owned (until he quit and started his second business, Dog Beds By Stella).
"closets closets closets closets," another wrote, calling back to the name of the closet business owned by the Pritchett patriarch's mortal enemy, Earl Chambers (first portrayed by the now late Jon Polito and later on Robert Costanzo).
Others, however, didn't seem to bat an eye at the reunion, as so many only wanted to talk about how Vergara has the photo of her and Bowen in character as Gloria and Claire (a spoof of the equally famous snap of Sophia Loren and Jayne Mansfield) the framed on her wall.
"Omg she has the famous picture framed in the background in the last pic!!! 😂😂," one top-liked comment read. Similarly, another wrote, "THE ICONIC PICTURE AS A PHOTOFRAME ON THE THIRD SLIDE 😭😭."
"The picture in the back 😭😭😭😭😭," a third chimed in.
"I’m so glad the cast is close," another suggested. "Best show fr."
Social media posts prove the former castmates' bond has only strengthened since the show ended in 2020. Notably, Bowen has been there for her gal pal amid her ongoing divorce from Joe Manganiello. More recently, Bowen and Ferguson headed to the theater together for a "Taylor Swift dance party," AKA to see the Eras tour concert film–how sweet!
