Jesse Tyler Ferguson Shares Sweet Photo Announcing Birth of Second Baby With Justin Mikita

Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Justin Mikita are expanding their modern family.
The couple revealed that they welcomed their second child, a baby boy, via surrogate on Tuesday, Nov. 15.
Ferguson shared the exciting news on Instagram, writing, “Sad to be away from my @takemeoutbway fam tonight but we ran off to welcome our newest little one, Sullivan Louis Ferguson-Mikita.”
“A special thanks to @drshahinghadir for helping us grow our family & our incredible surrogate and all of the nurses and doctors. We are overjoyed to be a family of four,” the 47-year-old wrote on the post, which included a shot of the doctor who made it all possible.
The post featured a few adorable photos, including one of the newborn wearing a onesie with “Empire” written on the front—a sweet nod to Ferguson’s Broadway play “Take Me Out.”
The second hospital shot found Ferguson and his husband, 37, rocking face masks and cozying up while holding their new bundle of joy.
Well wishes began pouring into the comment section, with former Modern Family co-star Sarah Hyland commenting, “The SWEETEST.” Ferguson and Hyland have a close relationship, as he officiated her wedding to Wells Adams earlier this year.
Broadway’s Stephanie J. Block commented, “What a happy night!! So many blessings to/on all 4 of you (and your surrogate) #family,” as comedian Amy Anderson added, “That’s a solid name there! Congratulations, daddies! ❤️❤️❤️❤️”
Sophia Bush left a simple “Congratulations,” while actress Uzo Aduba weighed in, noting, “Awww. Congratulations to all and welcome, baby Sullivan!!”
Ferguson and Mikita, who wed in New York City in July 2013 after nearly three years of dating, are already parents to two-year-old son Beckett.
