Sheep's Elation Over Basking in the Sunshine Serves As an Important Reminder

Life can be hard. It's easy to get bogged down with expectations and responsibilities. Which is why it's important to get some fresh air and sunshine every once in a while. Just like an adorable sheep online, which has the internet positively gushing with how cute it was.

The adorable clip was shared by Stone Lion Farms in Vermont and shows one of their sheep, William, basking in the sun.

The sheep looked absolutely precious. In the footage, his head was tilted up towards the sky, he was chewing on some food, and he looked like he was taking it all in. In fact, the farm showed a few different clips of William basking in the sun. Even while receiving pets from one of his caretakers. He looks positively peaceful. We just know he's forgetting all those months of cold and grey weather.

"Sweet William is loving the sun along with all the massages he can get, and so are we," the farm wrote in the caption.

The scene is positively idyllic and people in the comments section took notice. "This is exactly what I requested when I was reincarnated and instead I have a 9 to 5," joked one commenter. "Oh to be a sheep in the sunshine. Tell him I love him," someone else begged. "I just want to hug and give love to every animal on the planet. I can’t handle it!!! So cute," a third commenter chimed in. "I'm convinced an hour of petting/cuddling William would cure any affliction," another person agreed.

All About Stone Lions Farms

If this sounds like absolute Heaven, you probably need to take a trip up to Vermont to visit the Stone Lion Farm. The farm calls themselves a "research oriented educational farm," where they care for a variety of animals like chickens, cows, horses, ducks, turkeys, rabbits, and a baby duck they call "the ambassador."

The team that works with Stone Lion Farms are "integrative health practitioners, artists, professors, researchers, emergency service professionals, and spiritual counselors," the Stone Lion Farm website states.

The farm also boasts lots of activities for their human visitors, like book clubs, yoga, QiGong, reading with the farm's rabbits, and special days they call "Mindfulness Mondays." There are also some open farm hours and volunteer opportunities, if you really start to feel at home.

As for William, we have to imagine that this is the first of many sunny days. The warm weather has just begun! Here's hoping the farm will give us more snippets of this very happy sheep.
