Sarah Jessica Parker Gifts Herself SJP Collection Bow Boots for Her 59th Birthday

Sarah Jessica Parker gave herself a gift for her birthday. The actress unveiled on Instagram Monday that she was saving the special day to reveal a pair of “birthday boots.”
The over-the-knee boots are made of leather and feature a slouchy leg, rounded toe, and a prominent bow on the front. The leather of the bow is lined, revealing the contrasting lining in its folds.

“Been waiting for the occasion,” Parker wrote in the Instagram post. “Walking me into the Savoy Theatre London and then onward into the night, post show. I’m counting on them to direct me towards some champagne and merriment.”
Parker tagged SJP Collection in the post. The boot is not available on the company’s site, but bows have cropped up in many SJP Collection designs. Bows deck the front of other styles like the Bowles bootie.
Parker is currently performing in “Sunset Boulevard,” the Broadway-bound production for which she was nominated for an Oliver Award.
SJP Collection: An Actor’s Legacy
Launched in 2014, the SJP Collection saw Sarah Jessica Parker transition from actress to shoe entrepreneur. The brand includes staples like a Celine-titled Mary Jane, a pump dubbed Fawn, as well as a T-strap sandal given the name of Carrie. There are also a variety of seasonal designs that are part of collections like a Studio 59-themed range. Over time, the brand has expanded into fragrance and accessories.
Last year, SJP Collection launched a new New York flagship down the block from her “Sex and the City” character Carrie Bradshaw’s apartment. Parker co-designed the space.
“Bringing our store to New York City’s West Village has long been our company’s dream,” Parker said of the opening to FN. “It’s my husband’s birthplace, my family’s home, and where we’ve fostered decades long relationships with countless store owners, past and present. All of this makes our homecoming that much sweeter.
