Riley Keough is reflecting on the final moments spent with her mom, the late Lisa Marie Presley.

The Daisy Jones & the Six actress has had a rocky year, between losing her mother and battling it out with her grandmother, Priscilla Presley, over control of Lisa Marie's trust, but as things start to calm down, the granddaughter of Elvis Presley is looking back on the last meal she shared with her mom.

The last time the two were together was at a party for Elvis on January 11, 2023, where they had dinner together. Lisa Marie died unexpectedly the next day due to complications caused by a small bowel obstruction.

“I remember thinking about how beautiful she looked, and that was my strongest memory of the dinner,” she shared of the moment in a new interview with Vanity Fair.

As for what she hopes others will remember of her, Keough said, "She was just so unapologetically herself in every circumstance, and so strong.” She went on to reflect on her mom's tumultuous life and what she ultimately made of it. "She was a very powerful presence and extremely loving and extremely loyal and sort of a lioness—a fierce woman, and a really wonderful mother."

Lisa Marie is buried at Graceland, the family estate that her daughter just inherited officially. Keough's brother, Benjamin, is buried there as well, alongside Elvis and his parents, Gladys and Vernon Presley. Keough has just granted permission for Priscilla to be buried there when she dies, too.
