Priscilla Presley's request to be buried at Graceland mansion has officially been approved.

The 78-year-old ex-wife of the late music icon Elvis Presley previously asked for permission to be buried in the Meditation Garden of Graceland, on site of the Memphis, Tennessee property—and now that her granddaughter Riley Keough has been named sole trustee of Graceland, Priscilla's wish has been granted.

"To the extent of her authority, Riley agrees to allow Priscilla to be buried upon her death in the Meditation Garden of Graceland," court documents obtained by PEOPLE stated. "The burial location will be at the location closest to Elvis Presley without moving any existing gravesite."

Elvis was buried at the Graceland estate following his death in 1977, along with his mother and father, Gladys and Vernon Presley. Lisa Marie Presley—Elvis and Priscilla's only daughter who died at age 54 in January—was also laid to rest at Graceland, next to her son Benjamin Keough, who died in 2020.

The documents also reportedly state that Priscilla's son, Navarone Garcia, 36—whom she shares with Marco Garibaldi—will participate in planning her memorial service, along with "any person Priscilla names as her executor."

The update comes just days after Riley, 34, officially became the new owner of Elvis' beloved Graceland, which the late King of Rock 'n' Roll gifted to Lisa Marie when he died.

Riley and her grandmother ended up battling it out in court over the future of Lisa Marie's estate, after Priscilla filed a petition questioning a 2016 amendment to her will that deferred all control to Riley and Benjamin.

The Daisy Jones & the Six actress later reached a settlement with Priscilla in May, awarding her an undisclosed sum from Lisa Marie's estate.

In June, Riley filed a petition to officially take over as head of her mother's estate, which was approved by a judge last week. As a result, Keough will also preside over the sub-trusts of her 14-year-old half-sisters Finley and Harper Lockwood, who Lisa Marie shared with ex-husband Michael Lockwood.
