Rider Suffers Disappointing Tire And Rim Fail During Race
So much hard work and preparation goes into racing that spoiling the big day with a mechanical is perhaps the most frustrating and disappointing result possible.
2 minutes into the Trophy of Nations enduro Matt Stuttard ripped his tire off utterly spoiling his race, but that did not stop him from trying to persevere anyway. Take a look at some ill-fated unwillingness to quit in the clip below.
If any of you out there have ever blown a tire off or just tried riding on solely an old broken rim just to see what it's like then you can attest to how challenging it is to ride with absolutely no traction.
Stuttard and the rest of his British team unfortunately did not finish that race, but hey, at least he got a good viral clip out of it.
We would love to see another iteration of the Trophy of Nations sometime. Maybe that would be the ticket to reviving Enduro's viewership.
