Race Highlights From 2024 UCI Mairipora World Cup

On April 14, 2024, the first cross-country round of the WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series was held in Mairipora, Brazil.

The racing was action-packed, and back and forth. See the highlights from the men’s race below.

This race was one for the ages. American Christopher Blevins had been as far back as 33rd place but worked his way up to the lead group and made the fateful move on lap 7, securing the victory.

The women's race was just as exciting.

Jenny Risveds eventually pulled away from her American rivals Haley Batten and Savilia Blunk taking the first round of the year.
