Precious Dog Who's Been Waiting for a Home for Over 2 Years Is Giving 'Miss Peaches' Vibes

People on the internet are thinking about Miss Peaches after seeing the most heartbreaking video of a different rescue online. The pup has tragically been waiting for a foster family for two years. But many people online pointed out the dog looked like the social media sensation.
The dog is currently being held at the New York City area animal rescue Twenty Paws Rescue and is looking for the right home.
The Pit Bull's name is Luna — and while she's the sweetest girl she's yet to find her forever home.
As a voiceover in the video shared by Adopt a Pet states, not only has Luna yet to find a home, but there hasn't even been any interest in her either.
"She was found in an abandoned house near Trenton," the voiceover stated. It was also clear she'd recently had a litter of puppies.
Sadly, when Luna went into the shelter she "shut down." It's been a series of ups and downs since then, but still no takers have been found who will bring Luna home.
This sweet girl desperately needs someone to rescue her. And many people in the comments section pointed out that she could be like Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy's rescue dog Miss Peaches. "Luna could be someone’s Miss Peaches!!!" wrote one woman. "Boost for Luna please help to get her a home," someone else chimed in. "She is so pretty!!! Let’s get this girl adopted! She could be your Miss Peaches," another commenter agreed.
And she really could be! If you'll recall, Portnoy adopted Miss Peaches on February 14 from the LifeLine Animal Project on Atlanta. Miss Peaches also came from a rocky beginning.
"She came in from a neglect situation where we noticed she had patches of hair that were missing, itchy skin, and obvious signs of having had multiple litters of puppies," a voiceover in a video about Miss Peaches' backstory explained.
They organization hoped she would find someplace where she could get "TLC and recover." Thankfully someone scooped the dog up and three weeks later Miss Peaches was on the mend. Soon after Portnoy was connected to Miss Peaches' foster. And the rest is sort of history.
The social media maven brought her home and ever since she's lived a life of luxury. Portnoy dotes on her — he even bought her a Gucci coat!
It just shows how much one single person can change an animal's life. And for Luna that person could be you.
