Portland author’s new children’s book highlights environmental message

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A Portland-based author is out with a new children’s book that comes with an important lesson about the environment.

Titled “Willow’s Second Chance,” it’s a heart-warming story geared toward elementary school kids, which follows a little oil well’s journey to being useful again after her oil runs dry.

Author Dave Tragethon joined AM Extra on the couch to tell more about this new book and how it also supports the nonprofit, Well Done Foundation.
