Oregon Ski Area Offers Two More Weeks Of "Onesie Wednesday"

Hoodoo Ski Area, Oregon, has added two more days to its popular "Onesie Wednesday" program, which offers $30 lift tickets to onesie-wearing skiers.

The new dates are April 3rd and April 10th. Hoodoo's already hosted several Onesie Wednesdays this season.

The discounted lift tickets are a great deal, given Hoodoo's adult tickets typically cost $69—that's half off, and all you need to do is wear a onesie.

It was relatively warm, snowy, and windy during today's Onesie Wednesday. I can only imagine how wet the onesie-wearing skiers got. There's a reason thick, not waterproof fabric isn't a popular outerwear choice on the ski hill.

But that's nitpicking. I'd do a lot more for a $30 lift ticket, and the novelty of rocking a onesie—even if it means you get a bit soggy—should be seen as a bonus. Days spent wearing ridiculous outfits on the hill are the best days, especially in the spring. Plus, onesies made out of waterproof fabric do exist, although it's unclear if they fit the bill at Hoodoo.
