Matthew Perry's beloved Golden Doodle Alfred won't go without a fur-ever home for long, as one of the late actor's former co-stars is "considering" adopting the adorable pooch.

Lisa Kudrow, who played Phoebe Buffay opposite Perry's Chandler Bing in the hit sitcom Friends, has reportedly expressed interest in taking care of the late actor's fur baby–who became a beloved family member upon his addition to Perry's life three years ago–according to a source who spoke with The Daily Mail.

Before the source went public with the idea of Kudrow taking in Alfred, fans suggested she do so in the comments of Perry's old Instagram photos of his four-legged friend.

"@lisakudrow please adopt Alfred 😢," one top-liked comment pleaded before another wrote, "Rest in peace, Matthew. I'm sure someone in your family will be taking care of your sweet pup. Head scratchies from a Doodle mom."

The source, reportedly a friend of Kudrow's, also revealed that Kudrow and the rest of the Friends cast have pledged to attend Perry's funeral, noting that his sudden and tragic passing "did not feel real" to any of them.

Perry was only 54 when he tragically passed away on Oct. 28, following an apparent drowning just hours after he played a game of pickleball. Though an autopsy has yet to confirm his cause of death, preliminary reports suggest first responders were called to his Los Angeles-area home on Saturday after a call came in for a potential cardiac arrest.

Since his devastating passing, Perry's former Friends castmates and the show's creators, countless Hollywood stars, performers and his fans, have penned touching tributes online and erected memorials, ensuring his talent and legacy will be treasured for years to come.
