Two-time world champ John John Florence just took home the men's first-place trophy in the Vans Triple Crown.

In the last few months, he's gone on a surf trip, scored birthday barrels at Pipe, and was honored with an invite to the Eddie Aikau Big Wave Invitational. He also likes to sail and is a pretty avid cyclist.

What's his secret? According to a short edit by his new footwear sponsor Vivo Barefoot, it's a regular stretching routine with some yoga mixed in.

Vivo shared the video above on its YouTube channel recently and captioned it:

"Discover how stretching can be a game-changer for your mobility and learn from JJF himself as he runs us through his favorite poses.

"Consistency is the key, and John John Florence shares his secrets to making stretching a daily habit."

At the top of the video, Florence explains:

"I’m always changing and adapting my recovery for what I do."

That, he says, is because he's found more success with short workouts and stretching sessions than long ones.

He says when he tries to find time for a 45-minute session, it usually doesn't happen.

"I noticed that if I do 10-minute things more consistently I feel good overall and that works for me. And I'm more likely to do it, and that's the main thing right? Just doing it."

Press play above for a look at Florence's daily stretching routine. And then, find 10 minutes to give it a shot. Your body will thank you.
