Pipeline delivered some solid surf on the last day of the Vans Pipe Masters. Hawaii's John John Florence and Moana Jones Wong took home first-place trophies.

The contest ran heats of four surfers who had three rounds to get their three best scores before moving to the finals to compete for first place.

This year, Tahiti's Eimeo Czermak and all three Florence brothers were pitted against each other, with John John eventually taking first and Czermak taking a bad wipeout.

In his latest vlog that dropped yesterday, Nathan Florence shares more behind-the-scenes footage from the contest and captioned it:

"Battle Royale at the Vans Pipe Masters Final Heats"

The video opens with the Florence brothers getting ready to surf and hanging out in the front yard of a beach house at Pipe.

After a couple of heats, Nathan recaps:

"Stoked, surfed three heats together, all the bros. Eimeo, at the end of the heat, hurt his neck or did something and got carried up on a stretcher so our fourth brother in our heat, we really hope he's okay. We're gonna check on him."

Last week, we reported that Czermak went over the falls on an eight-to-10-foot wave and was hurt badly. Czermak was hospitalized and is currently recovering.

On social media, Czermak wrote, "I’m so happy and grateful to be alive and looking forward to heal. I’m alive and gonna be able to walk again hopefully soon so that’s what matters."

Press play above for a day in the life of the Florence brothers.
