MrBeast Game Show Has “Biggest Single Prize in the History of Television”

MrBeast has a huge new game show coming, and it offers the single biggest prize in television history.

Hosted and produced by popular YouTuber Jimmy Donaldson, AKA MrBeast, who has over 240 million subscribers on the platform, Beast Games is a reality competition series featuring 1,000 contestants competing for a life-changing amount of money: $5 million in cash.

According to a press release from Prime Video, where Beast Games will air, it’s the biggest single prize in television history.

“MrBeast has captured the attention and imagination of fans of all ages, from all walks of life, and all over the world,” says Jennifer Salke, head of Amazon MGM Studios. “We are excited to work with Jimmy and his talented team to bring his brilliant, high production, and stakes-raising concepts to Beast Games for our global customers to experience.”

MrBeast is no stranger to smash hits. Following the success of Squid Game on Netflix in 2021, he recreated a ‘real life’ version on YouTube which has garnered 588 million views to date

He says in the press release, “My goal is to make the greatest show possible and prove YouTubers and creators can succeed on other platforms. Amazon gave me the creative control I need to try and make it happen.”

There’s no release date yet, but Beast Games premieres exclusively on Prime Video and will be available in over 240 countries.
