Azai greets guests at Target

One TikTok mom is making light of how friendly her toddler son is while out in public.

Mia Arianna, known as @mia.ariannaa on TikTok, was amused by how friendly and social her son Azai was after the toddler's curiosity about meeting new people became apparent from an early age.

"Azai started showing signs of being super social when he was about 6 months old. He would just crawl around saying hi to everyone," mom Mia tells PEOPLE. "He also would let anybody pick him up. He’s never been afraid of strangers."

The family lives close to a Target, so it's a go-to stop that's turned into one of Azai's favorite places.

"I personally love Target. It’s up the street from my house and super convenient since it's an all-in-one store," she says.

Their frequent trips to Target brought many greetings from Azai to random shoppers. Mia made a video, later elaborating on the joke that she couldn't keep Azai from saying hello to people in the store. It wasn't long before the cute videos started going viral.

"I was sending a video to my friend to show her how he speaks to everyone even when I tell him not to. I think it’s hilarious because he always does it, I just never recorded him," Mia recalls.

In the videos, some people can be seen keeping it to a simple "hi," but there's a few who strike up a conversation with the toddler, who sometimes asks "how you doing?" as well.

"I was actually never big on posting my son. I posted it just for fun and once it went viral, I decided to just keep it going from there. Seeing his videos go viral is priceless because this is Azai every day and I’m glad the world can see how special he is. He is a ball of love."

Commenters can't get enough of Azai's sweet demeanor, dubbing him their "internet nephew" as he continues his Target adventure.

For Mia, seeing how many people appreciate her little boy "really makes my day."

"I can tell the videos really make theirs as well," she says. "The smile, the glow, the surprise on people’s faces is heartwarming because I know that my baby is spreading love and you never know who needs it."
