I’m in favor of dressing comfortably every season. In the winter, I accept that comfort means drowning in chunky sweaters, but spring is a different story. The lightweight knits and breezy linens offer pajama-like softness while looking shockingly elevated. For that very reason, there’s one style I find myself wearing over and over again, and it just got Meghan Markle’s stamp of approval — yet again.

When the Duchess of Sussex stepped out in Florida over the weekend, she opted for a look so quintessentially “Coastal Grandma,” I wouldn’t be shocked if you told me she was actually filming a Nancy Meyers’ movie. She paired Hermès slide sandals with a seriously oversized blue-and-white striped button-down and billowing white pants — the latter of which I’ve practically been living in.

Oversized cotton and linen trousers have an effortless vibe — they’re so lightweight and flowy, they kind of feel like nothing — while maintaining a chic look that complements dressed-up blouses and even elevates basic tees. TL;DR? You probably won’t want to wear another pair of pants this spring (or summer), which is why I found 10 lookalike styles inspired by Markle’s white pair, and they start at just $27.

Madewell’s Harlow pants have been a staple in my wardrobe for over a year, and its newly-launched 100-percent linen style has quickly become one of my go-tos for spring. The wide leg and high waist are super flattering, the pleating elevates them, and their lightweight feel has me convinced I’ll also wear them all summer long. One fan of the pants deemed them a “steal for their quality and style,” raving that they’re “cut like a dream,” and another person said they’re “digging the breezy look.” They’re “chic and flattering,” said someone else, while a final customer said that they have the “perfect drape, pleating.” Best yet, these are available in petite, plus, standard, and tall sizes.
