Mark Zuckerberg took to Instagram recently to share his massive order from a Japanese McDonald’s.

Zuckerberg posted several snaps of himself and his wife, Priscilla Chan, as they stopped for a meal at a trendy looking McDonald’s in the heart of Japan. The couple recently shared pictures of their journey across the country, including a katana-making lesson.

Zuckerberg’s first photo shows him enjoying a Teritama Burger, an amalgamation of the words “teriyaki” and “tomago,” Japanese for “egg.” The seasonal menu item is made with a pork patty topped with a fried egg and slathered in a ginger, apple, and garlic-flavored teriyaki sauce on a pink-hued bun.

Another photo showcasing the couple’s food platter gives a more extensive look at the international McDonald’s menu. Included amongst traditional French fries, Filet-O-Fish, and Chicken McNuggets are a Teriyaki McBurger, as well as the chain’s corn and edamame dish.

The couple also appear to have one of McDonald’s new, Japan-exclusive “Itta Ki Ni Naru N.Y. Burgers,” which translates to “I Feel Like I Went to N.Y. Burgers.” The sandwiches premiered late in 2022 and are meant to recreate a New York deli sandwich with thick slices of meat, special sauce, and an unusual square shape.

The N.Y. burgers come in two varieties. The Thick Beef Burger Pepper & Cheese (460 yen) is made with thick, 100-percent beef patties topped with bacon, lettuce, onion, and a slice of smoky cheddar cheese. It’s finished with what the chain describes as a “rich and addictive” steak sauce that combines cheddar cheese sauce with ground black pepper.

The other N.Y. option is McDonald’s Grilled Salt & Lemon Chicken Burger. It’s made with a “perfect balance” of chicken and fresh veggies, with thick thigh meat sandwiched between lettuce, onion, cheddar cheese, bacon, and a salted garlic and lemon sauce.

It seems that Zuckerberg was a big fan of McDonald’s Japanese menu. He raved on Instagram, “10/10. Give these guys a Michelin star.”
