Looking for the Love Bug? Dunkin' has a Valentine's Day donut for you

The seasons are changing and love is in the air.

Look at your local Walmart or Target and the aisle dedicated to candy canes and Reese's Christmas trees has been cleared out and is filled with Reese's hearts and heart-shaped boxes of chocolate.

Valentine's Day is coming along with sweet treats, strawberries, roses and everything red and pink.

Here's a look at how some retailers are celebrating the holiday:

Dunkin'

Dunkin' launched its winter menu on Wednesday, Dec. 27. The menu included a Pink Velvet Macchiato and a frosted Red Velvet specialty doughnut. For those whose true love is bacon, there's Sweet Black Pepper Seasoned Snackin' Bacon. It's a bag of bacon strips. Who wouldn't love that?

However, the big Valentine's Day items will be coming on Wednesday, Jan. 31. Dunkin' will bring back the heart-shaped Brownie Batter doughnut and the heart-shaped Cupid's Choice doughnut.

There are also reports of a Love Bug doughnut coming out on Jan. 31. The Love Bug is a repurposed Spider doughnut from Halloween with strawberry frosting instead of orange frosting.

Chick-fil-A

While not Valentine's Day-related, it's still something to bring a smile to your face. Chick-fil-A is returning Mango Passion Sunjoy to its nationwide menu on Monday, Jan. 8, along with a few new beverages.

  • Mango Passion Sunjoy: Chick-fil-A lemonade and freshly brewed sweetened iced tea with delicious mango and passion fruit flavors.

  • Mango Passion Lemonade: A tropical combination is a mix of classic Chick-fil-A lemonade and delicious mango and passion fruit flavors.

  • Mango Passion Iced Tea: Mixes classic iced tea with delicious mango and passion fruit flavors.

  • Mango Passion Frosted Lemonade: Combines Chick-fil-A lemonade or diet lemonade and signature Icedream dessert with delicious mango and passion fruit flavors.

Little Debbie

You know Valentine's Day is in full force when the grocery store snack aisle has Valentine Little Debbies. All the old heart-shaped favorites are back with strawberry cake with white frosting, white cake with white frosting and chocolate cake with chocolate frosting. There are also Valentine mini donuts, Valentine cherry cordials and even Valentine Nutty Bars.

Starbucks

Starbucks launched its winter menu on Jan. 2. Among the items included on it was the Valentine's Day Cake Pop.
