Lisa Rinna Makes Unexpected Comment About Her 'New Face'

Lisa Rinna attends the Fashion Trust US Awards Red Carpet on April 9, 2024.

Lisa Rinna saw the online remarks about her "new face," and now she's issued quite the response.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum recently became the subject of a video posted to TikTok by Nicole Smith, an aesthetic physician assistant, meant to inform potential patients–and the general public–about popular cosmetic procedures done to add volume and decrease the appearance of wrinkles in the face.

"How do we prevent this over-filled look that we are seeing more and more with celebrities?" Smith began in the clip as images of Rinna, 60, shuffled in the background.

"The key with doing dermal fillers or Botox is to maintain your youthful look, not to alter and change your appearance. They place too much filler in the cheeks and mid-face; it completely throws off the full facial balance," Smith said while pointing at a photo of Rinna on the red carpet.

"With good injection techniques, your results should be undetectable," she added, before providing her suggested method of injecting filler.

Social media users appreciated the tips, but were more concerned with the Melrose Place alum's current look.

Countless people claimed to "not recognize her," while others suggested she "ruined her face!"

Whether Rinna heard the comments or was unhappy with the results before they went viral on social media remains unknown. But she did respond to the original TikTok video to reassure everyone that she no longer looks like that.

"Skinvive is not for everyone and it was not good for me," Rinna replied. "Luckily we could dissolve it today. Whew."

The creator also shared her detailed explainer on Instagram, where she noted in the caption that while some patients need more filler than others due to different variables like aging, "there is a point where anything more will distort your natural facial features."

"Cheek filler should be done in moderation," Smith added. "Your cheeks should never look this full. It is important for your cosmetic injector to help you maintain a youthful look while still looking natural. It is important for you to find an injector that will honestly tell you when you’ve reached your maximum filler potential."
