Kylie Jenner says the price drop on Jordyn Woods-inspired cosmetics was just a coincidence

Kylie Jenner says it wasn’t intentional that the makeup inspired by Jordyn Woods was slashed in price after her estranged BFF was accused of kissing Khloe Kardashian‘s boyfriend, Tristan Thompson. The youngest self-made billionaire, 21, was asked directly by the New York Times if the price drop was in response to the supposed betrayal. (For example, the price of the Kylie Cosmetics “Jordy” Velvet Liquid Lipstick Lip Kit was cut in half.)

“That is just not my character. I would never do something like that and when I saw it, I was like, thrown back,” said Jenner. “Jordyn knows I didn’t actually put it on sale.”

The makeup mogul added that she called an employee as soon as she heard about the discounted price and that it had been put on sale a couple weeks earlier as the company switched from white to black packaging.

Woods maintained she was simply kissed by Thompson while leaving a party, and there was nothing further to their relationship. The 21-year-old model was photographed in London on Friday to promote her Eylure X Jordyn Woods Lashes collection, days after the new Keeping Up With the Kardashians trailer dropped. The show returns to E! tonight, and while it’s unclear how much Woods is included in season 16, it appears the drama will be addressed.

Meanwhile, Jenner — who reportedly took a break from filming after the scandal — is unwinding with boyfriend Travis Scott on vacation.
