Kirsten Dunst is one of my select few “I will watch everything and anything they’re in” actresses, ESPECIALLY when it comes to The Hollywood Reporter’s Actress Roundtable. She’s a celebrity who’s actually relatable, and gives smart insights and advice. (Obviously, I love her.) So I’ll take any cues from her, whether they be professional, fashion-focused, or makeup-related. The latter of which I caught a glimpse thanks to an Instagram post from makeup artist Ashley Levy. There were lots of great product takeaways, but the one that caught my attention is Chanel’s Les Beiges Healthy Glow Foundation.

Levy posted an Instagram carousel with a picture of Dunst with her makeup done for the just-released A24 movie Civil War. The picture was followed by all of the skincare and makeup products she used on her. (We love someone who doesn’t gatekeep!) In the caption, she explained that the ultimate vibe was for Dunst to be somewhere in between perfect and real, which is my forever goal, too.

Chanel

I’m not surprised to see a Chanel foundation on another actress; The iconic brand’s complexion products have been worn by celebrities like Anne Hathaway and Hailey Bieber. (I’m a fan, too.) There are a lot of Chanel foundations to choose from, but this is the one you reach for when you want light-medium, long-lasting coverage and hydration (courtesy of glycerin) with a natural finish.

Dunst looks great in Levy’s photo, but then again, having a professional do your makeup will probably make everything look good. The ultimate validation, IMO, comes from shopper reviews — and in this instance, they are overwhelmingly positive.

A 30-year-old Ulta shopper said Chanel’s Les Beiges Healthy Glow Foundation has “the most beautiful satin finish that looks incredibly skin-like.” They also said they wore it for eight hours during which they “sweat quite a bit” during an hour-long exercise class, yet their makeup still looked “pretty flawless” at the end of the day. A 76-year-old shopper who’s been using this for 10 years said this foundation is “light but evens out [their] skin tone without looking like [they] have any makeup on.”

Head to Chanel to shop the Les Beiges Healthy Glow Foundation and check out some of Kirsten Dunst’s skincare prep, below.
