Jessica Simpson’s Kids Look So Grown Up in First Day of School Pics
Jessica Simpson is next up to send her kids off to school, and we can't believe how grown up they each looked on their first days!
The actress took to Instagram yesterday, Sept. 1, to share the sweet snaps, taken on her front porch as the sun filtered through the trees as all three of her kids headed off: 11-year-old daughter Maxwell, 10-year-old son Ace and 4-year-old daughter Birdie.
In the first photo, Ace stood in the middle, holding Birdie over to one side of his body while Maxwell leaned in from the other side. Both older kids held Birdie up between them in the next snap, before setting her down to hold her hands in the third.
Each wore their uniform—a red polo and khakis for Ace, a white polo and blue plaid skirt for Maxwell, and a blue plaid jumper for Birdie—with the youngest dressing it up with a pair of frilly socks and pink converse with rainbow charms and the oldest showing off a selection of rings and a pair of heart-shaped earrings. She and her big sis also wore matching hairstyles, with tiny braids secured with little white bows.
Before heading off, Birdie made sure to take a pic with her pup, Penny, too, dropping to her knees to wrap her arms around the dog and beam at the camera.
"We think we are excited for our kids to finally go back to school until they bring home binders of homework," she wrote, "and then realize we went back to school too 😜."
