Last year, Jennifer Aniston revealed that she spent years undergoing fertility treatments, including in vitro fertilization. In a new interview, Aniston reveals that her longtime pal Adam Sandler and his wife Jackie honor her on Mother’s Day every year by sending her flowers.

Last fall, Aniston shared that amid years (and years and years) of tabloid fodder in her past, she really was trying to get pregnant for a long time.

“All the years and years and years of speculation… It was really hard. I was going through IVF, drinking Chinese teas, you name it,” she says. “I was throwing everything at it. I would’ve given anything if someone had said to me, ‘Freeze your eggs. Do yourself a favor.’ You just don’t think it. So here I am today. The ship has sailed.”

If you’re an adult millennial or older, you absolutely remember Jennifer Aniston’s gorgeous face and perfect hair splashed across every tabloid magazine during her marriage to both Brad Pitt and Justin Theroux. All the while, Jennifer Aniston was struggling to become pregnant in real life—and no one ever knew until 2022.

At the time, she explained that after years of enduring infertility and endless public speculation about the state of her womb, she’s finally at peace with her life.

“I have zero regrets,” she says. “I actually feel a little relief now because there is no more, ‘Can I? Maybe. Maybe. Maybe.’ I don’t have to think about that anymore.”

That being said, in her latest interview with the Wall Street Journal, Aniston says Sandler and his wife still acknowledge her struggles and honor her on Mother’s Day every year. It’s more than just a sweet gesture—it’s a beautiful display of friendship and validation for her one-time journey to motherhood.
