Japan's 'Rent' a Dog for an Hour Is Such a Brilliant Idea to Let Shelter Dogs Out
As much as we love visiting new cities, it seems like you do the same thing over and over again. Eat out, go to museums, and walk around for miles and miles to different neighborhoods. Of course, each city has something unique that makes it their own, but generally speaking, it's very similar.
That's why we were drawn to this brilliant idea in Japan that all dog lovers will surely enjoy. TikTok user @japancrate posted a clip on September 17 that shows how those visiting Tokyo can get their doggy fix while also helping out shelter dogs.

Aww! We seriously couldn't love this idea any more. Who wouldn't want to explore a new city with a friendly Golden Retriever by their side? Plus, by walking dogs is so crucial to their health and happiness. So not only are you helping out this dog cafe, but you're also getting much needed puppy time in Tokyo, Japan. A win-win for everyone!
The best part about this dog cafe is that if you fall in love with one of their fur babies, you can either foster or adopt. That's one of the reasons why we love cafes such as this one; it gives you a feel for the animals in a unique setting.
The sad truth is that dogs in shelters don't always get the exercise they need, especially since plenty of animal shelters are over capacity. While there are angel volunteers that help walk these dogs, it doesn't necessarily happen everywhere.
