Skiers head to the lift at the base of Winter Park Ski Resort on Oct. 31, 2022, the opening day of the 2022-23 ski season.

With five inches falling in the past day, Winter Park Resort will keep the ski season open until Memorial Day, on May 27. That day will be the last day of the ski season at Winter Park Resort.

The resort is hosting an event this Saturday with live music, food and drink specials at Mary Jane Beach in Winter Park.

With a duration of 207 days, the 2023-2024 season will go down as the second longest in the resort’s history with a whopping 406 inches of snowfall, according to Winter Park. This is just a few days shy of the 211 days record in 2022-2023.
