Here's How the Jupiter-Uranus Conjunction Will Affect You, Based on Your Zodiac Sign

April 20 marks the start of the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction, a cosmic connection that will happen for the first time in Taurus since 1941.
This is a rare astrological occurrence, as these planets conjunct approximately once every 14 years! The conjunction of Jupiter and Uranus in Taurus is said to be one of the most intense days of the 2024 astrological calendar.
PEOPLE's resident astrologer Kyle Thomas confirms that "yes," we are likely to feel the effects of this planetary conjunction in accordance with our zodiac signs. "There is an astrological meaning for everything," he says, noting that we'll experience "extremely rare energy" as a result.
Jupiter is the planet of luck and Uranus is the planet of surprises, and Thomas — who's known for his cosmic guidance for celebrities, business executives and prominent influencers — says the merge of their energies will bring "shocking twists of fate, major breakthroughs or breakdowns or wild events to our doorstep."
Uranus will reside in Taurus from now until July 7, 2025. Then, it will move into Gemini until it retrogrades back that November and stay there until April 2026 (where it will not return for 84 years!).
Here's what the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction — which Thomas calls a "big ferocious beast" — could mean for your zodiac sign.
Aries (March 21-April 19)
Mind your money, Aries! Thomas says Jupiter will "soar through your financial zone," which may bring "sudden shifts of fate around money" in the days surrounding April 20. He notes this is a "good time to consider investing, aiming to hit the jackpot or even looking for a new job."
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Shoot for the stars, Taurus! "Don’t just sit back and expect all of your dreams to come true without clearly knowing what you want and taking correct action to manifest it," say Thomas.
"A major windfall, breakthrough or destined event" could arrive around April 20 — perhaps something that "has been building beneath the radar from as far back as 2018," he says. It could be a "hope, aspiration or dream" that you've held onto for some time now.
Thomas suggests, "Take action near this time and be courageous in building your life and pursuing what sets your heart on fire!"
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Gemini, things are about to look clearer as the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction draws near. Thomas says to "expect vivid and powerful revelations" around April 20. "A major personal awakening is coming," he adds.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
You're the talk of the town, Cancer! Thomas predicts a "surge of growth and joy around your social life, groups and communities" will occur around this planetary conjunction. Perhaps, even "romantic affairs!"
Prepare for "major news, an opportunity, lucky breakthrough or joyous event" to pop up near April 20. "If you’d like to ask someone a favor to reach a lifelong milestone, hope or dream," Thomas suggests reaching out near this time.
"You’ll likely be connecting with many people far and wide near this time and could even have great luck around true love, fertility, romance or dating," he adds.

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
Get ready for career moves, Leo! Thomas predicts a "major change, windfall or breakthrough" around your career or professional life could soon be on the horizon — "particularly as you get closer to April 20," he says.
"If you’d like to roll the dice and aim for success," Thomas says to "plan something important near this time even if it’s something like applying for your dream job."
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
There's a lot in store for you, Virgo! Thomas predicts "a major stroke of luck, change, fortune or a whirlwind could pop up" around this planetary conjunction. Among the themes he says could be affected include long-distance travel, immigration issues, international relations or business, relatives, academic or philosophical growth, media endeavors or even legal plans.
Thomas predicts you might even be offered "a life-changing opportunity for personal or professional growth" or instead "feel filled with courage to charge into new territory."
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Cha-ching, Libra! Thomas predicts there could be a "big shift" around assets, investments, wealth, payouts, an inheritance or settlement this month — particularly near April 20, the time of the conjunction.
"This energy could see your partner’s income increase," he says. The energy could also "favor more intimacy, trust and vulnerability between the two of you, too."
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Mind your partnerships, Scorpio! "With Jupiter continuing to dance across the sky from you, relationship matters should be emphasized at this time," says Thomas. The conjunction "could bring a sudden shift, change or lucky breakthrough around partnership, contracts or negotiations," he puts forth.
For example, Thomas says "a sudden engagement, spontaneous wedding or breakup out of nowhere could all take place." Uranus is the planet of the unknown so what you expect to happen, Thomas says, "rarely ever does."
He concludes, "Just be aware that something destined certainly is brewing!"
Sagittarius (Nov. 22 – Dec. 21)
Prepare for some news, Sagittarius! "Be aware that a sudden change or breakthrough could happen near April 20 as Jupiter unites with Uranus," reminds Thomas.
This astrological connection will spark energy that could "cause you to focus on" one of the following themes: productivity, employment, coworkers or staff, physical health and fitness or pets. "Shocking or exciting news is likely," he says.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Are you ready for a surprise, Capricorn? Thomas predicts "a major twist of fate or sudden news could happen" around April 20 in one of the following themes: true love, courtship, children or fertility near this time.
Whatever it may be, Thomas says it could bring "joy through hobbies, games of chance, sports, recreation or creativity." He adds, "Plan something special and take a chance!"

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Expect a switch-up around April 20, Aquarius. Thomas says to "pay attention to anything shifting around home, family or your domestic life" when Jupiter unites with Uranus, your planetary ruler "ensuring something is about to change in a major way."
Thomas says this could be as simple as finding "your dream piece of furniture or hearing from a long lost relative" or as major as "finding your dream home and putting in an offer." He adds, "Expect the unexpected!"
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
Keep your eyes and ears open, Pisces! Thomas advises you "pay extra attention to anything that pops up near April 20" because Jupiter and Uranus will unite in your intellectual and travel zone.
"This could be as simple as a breakthrough, genius idea, a powerful conversation that changes your perspective or news from a friend, sibling, or neighbor that leaves you shocked," he says. "Exhilarating communication or travel possibilities could also soon pop up!"
