French Bulldog Does Most Precious Little Dance When Asking Human to Play

When you have a dog around, you're bound to share a lot of happy moments together. Let's face it--dogs are naturally entertaining--but some pups have special quirks and behaviors that keep their owners laughing nearly nonstop. One of those pups is "dancing" Dennis!

This adorable French Bulldog has the silliest way of asking his owner to play with him, and it truly never gets old. That's why this dog's owner shared a video of him doing his special dance on April 24, and why so many people simply loved it!

Just try not to fall for Dennis's joyful charm.

Aww! Now this is one happy dog. Dennis may be known as a "menace" to his owner, but his millions of TikTok viewers know him better as a dancer. After all, those tippy-taps are practically unforgettable! Every dog has their own unique ways of expressing their happiness, but Dennis's is one of the cutest I've ever seen.

And I'm not the only one who feels enchanted by this pup's playful dance! Commenters have an endless list of sweet things to say about the French Bulldog, but one person hates to see him waiting. They wrote out a comment asking Dennis's owner to "play with him right now," but don't worry--he had plenty of playtime with his human!

"Rest assured, he was chased at full speed immediately after this," the Frenchie owner replied. "He is a very loved boy." There's no doubt about that! He has a different dog toy in his mouth in almost every TikTok video, and this guy seems to have an endless desire to play.

Different Types of Play

Like many dogs, Dennis loves to play with his owner by getting chased. My cockapoo does the very same thing! He'll walk up to me with a toy (or occasionally something he's stolen) in his mouth, and he'll wait with wide eyes until I chase him. Thirteen years later--he still loves to play like this!

Many dogs enjoy running while they play, which is why having a yard or park nearby is so important. Other pups prefer to play tug-of-war, wrestle with other dogs, or complete an agility course. There's no wrong way for a pup to play!  Of course, having a variety of toys on hand can help your dog show you how they want to play, but it's also important to help your dog try new activities sometimes, too.

Even obedience training can feel like a game for some dogs, especially when they're rewarded with a treat. As long as your dog is happy and engaged like Dennis is when he's asking to play, you're doing great!
