One of the reasons why we find dogs so special is the fact that they can’t hide their emotions. From fear and anger to excitement and joy, you can always tell how they’re feeling based on their ears, tails, or mouths. And if you’re lucky, sometimes a dog’s entire body will share the story.

That’s what happened with this doggo who was greeting someone at the front door. The dog's excitement is seen moving through his entire body. One look at this September 24 video from TikTok user @domiadevaia_ will brighten your entire week.

Be still our hearts! This Golden Retriever truly let all his emotions out during this special greeting. The "wiggle dance" is now our new favorite thing we've ever seen a dog do. You can just feel his excitement through the screen and the only thing we want to do after watching this viral clip is smile. It's an instant mood booster! We do have to admit, though, that we're a little jealous that our dogs never greet us like this. LOL!

Believe it or not, a dog's way of expressing stress excitement and happy excitement is very similar. The signs associated with both types include tail wagging, drooling, whining, and panting. It's important to recognize the difference between both with your dogs.

A few reasons why your dog is overly excited include mealtime excitement, jumping around right before going on a walk, spotting squirrels, or begging for attention. The technique to help your dog calm down is essentially a waiting game. You want to wait for your dog to show the right behavior and as soon as that happens, signal "yes." For example, if your dog gets excited around you, ignore him, turn away, and remove yourself. Return your attention only when he is calm or showing the behavior you want. It could take time for them to learn this, but it will save you from chaos.
