Tarek and Heather Rae El Moussa are the latest celeb couple to book a getaway there for quality time in the sun, and fans have been obsessing over the hotel they stayed at. So, naturally, we decided to round up all of the best, design-forward places to stay in the city. Las Ventanas al Paraíso
The stars of HGTV's The Flipping El Moussas recently jet set off to Mexico for some alone time away from their kids. They chose to stay at the five-star resort Las Ventanas al Paraíso. Situated between San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, the beach hideaway consists of suites (with personal spas, rooftop patios, and telescopes for stargazing), villas, residences, and even a 28,000-square-foot mansion. While Tarek and Heather were there, they lounged by the infinity edge pool, one of eight pools on the property. They also enjoyed a romantic meal at Arbol, one of the property's restaurants, where they sat at a sunken table surrounded by water and trees covered with lantern lights.
One&Only Palmilla
Jennifer Aniston once called the One&Only Palmilla her favorite hotel in Los Cabos. Over the years, the resort has been popular among many A-listers including Eva Longoria, John Wayne, Lucille Ball, Miles Teller, Ashton Kutcher, and Demi Moore (to name a few!).
Situated on the Sea of Cortez, the luxe accommodations consist of 174 oceanfront guest rooms and suites along with two villas. All guests are provided with butler service during their stay and receive a daily complimentary breakfast for two. Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal
A private tunnel leads to the Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal, where the accommodations were literally carved into the cliffs of the Pedregal Mountain. The rooms, suites, villas, casitas, and even private homes each have a private plunge pool and ocean views. Acclaimed dining, a renowned spa, and a gift boutique make the resort a true oasis. The longtime celebrity hotspot has welcomed stars including Olivia Culpo, Shay Mitchell, Lili Reinhart, Cole Sprouse, Wiz Khalifa, and more.
Garza Blanca Resort & Spa Los Cabos
The Garza Blanca Resort & Spa's contemporary design is inspired by its surrounding landscape. The luxury resort—where Selling Sunset star Bre Tiesi and Nick Cannon stayed in 2023—comprises 315 accommodations from spacious suites to lavish penthouses. It's easy to see why the pair spent a romantic getaway at the resort. It has a world-class spa, gourmet restaurants, and enchanting pools overlooking the dreamy blue waters.
Greycape
The Kardashians stayed at fashion designer James Perse's private estate in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico during the season four premiere of their Hulu show. Known as Greycape, the property consists of five private suites with organic modern interiors. With an emphasis on indoor-outdoor living, the estate has it all. There's an infinity pool, jacuzzi, direct beach access, a private chef, butler service, and more at guests' disposal. At 1 Homes Cabo, guests can book homes with anywhere from one to seven bedrooms. The modern Hacienda-style accommodations bring the outdoors in and boast views of Land’s End and Marina Cabo San Lucas. The resort's dining options offer cuisine made of local ingredients. Standout services and amenities include chef and grocery services, multiple pools, a spa, and a fitness center. On Selling the OC (season two, episode five), some of the agents stay at the resort during a trip to The Oppenheim Group’s Cabo San Lucas office. The brokerage actually had a hand in bringing the resort's residences to market.
Villa Cielito del Mar
Villa Cielito del Mar is a favorite vacation rental of the Selling Sunset cast. During season seven, Chelsea Lazkani was nearly speechless when she toured the place. “This may be the best room I have ever stayed in in my life,” she said during the series as she claimed a room in the rental. The two-acre estate is ideal for anyone looking to go all out on a secluded escape. Located in the gated development of Chileno Bay, the property has eight bedrooms—all with private bathrooms.
