One of Drew Barrymore's tattoos was inspired by two very special somebodies: her daughters.

The young girls—Olive, 10, and Frankie, 9—whom she shares with ex-husband, Will Kopelman, are to credit for her feeling "at home" just about anywhere, even when she's not in her own house.

While speaking with Better Homes & Gardens for the publication's Stylemaker Issue, the cover model detailed the meaning behind the body art, which she got inked in 2021, live on an episode of The Drew Barrymore Show.

“I have a tattoo that says ‘home is where we are’, and it’s true,” she said, giving more insight into what exactly that means for her. “Wherever I am with my girls, I feel like I’m at home. Even if we’re just at a restaurant, I pour out the contents of my bag—my camera, my crossword puzzle, my lip balm, my book, a deck of cards—and we’re right at home.”

Elsewhere during the chat, the talk show host revealed a few rules she implements around her humble abode—a sunny, three-bedroom three-bathroom apartment in NYC's Upper East Side, which, in addition to the two girls, she shares with two cats, two dogs and a bearded dragon.

“We watch a ton of movies and shows so I’m not judging anyone about screens. But when it comes to my kids, I’m not a huge fan of personal electronics, like iPads," the Charlie's Angels star explained, further noting, "During the pandemic when schools were virtual, we were forced into all being on our separate devices, and I didn’t like it."

Instead, the actress prefers to make screen time, family time. "Now, I keep the iPads in a locked safe and they only come out for special occasions. I’d rather that the three of us all pile into my bed and watch together,” Barrymore expressed.
